Thank you to everyone for taking care and making our studio NUT FREE. This includes all food that contains nuts too! This year we have 6 dancers that are anaphylactic.
If your Dancer needs stage recital tights we have them in stock in the office. If you are unsure if your Dancers needs tights please send us an email and we'll let you know. Tights are $20 including tax.
KIX 'N RHYTHM SHOWCASE
Competition Classes
Saturday, March 1, 630pm at University Farquhar Auditorium at UVic. All Competition Dancers will perform in "Kix ‘N Rhythm.” A shake down performance for our Competition Team. We welcome you in our audience!

2024 KIX 'N RHYTHM
2025 RECITAL AND DRESS REHEARSAL DATES
Please mark these dates down and keep these dates open. All classes will perform in one rehearsal and one recital. We will head into our dance year with this goal in mind and be ready if changes are necessary.
RECITALS: May 09, 10, (2 shows on the 10th.)
DRESS REHEARSALS: April 29, 30, May 1. The Recital Breakdown of what class performs in which show will be emailed to you mid March.
If you have more than one child dancing or a child taking more than one class a week, please be aware that you could be involved in more than one show. This would mean purchasing tickets for all shows you plan on attending.
TICKETS for "Dance Dance Dance" GO ON SALE FRIDAY, APRIL 4
Tickets will go on sale FRIDAY, APRIL 4 through the University of Victoria Ticket Office both on line and in person. Tickets may be purchased on line, www.auditorium.uvic.ca, by phone 250-721-8480 or in person. Detailed ticket information will be listed on the website under the ‘RecTix’ button, as soon as we receive it. Tickets are $15.25 plus Tax and Service Charges.
PRIMARY TAP SHOE LACES
It is time to say good-bye to the black satin laces in our tap shoes (primary dancers) Please replace the laces with a dance shoe ties (available at the studio office $6) or a piece of black elastic. No more laces coming undone hurray!

COMPETITIONS ~ 2025
Competitions are another performance opportunity that doesn't involve all studio classes. If you have questions in regard to competitions please call the studio office. Good luck to all our Competition Performers! Please remember to check the web site under the 'CompTeam' button on a regular basis.
Dance Classes During DRESS REHEARSAL and RECITAL WEEK

No regular dance classes the week of April 28. See you at the Dress Rehearsals.

No regular dance classes the week of May 5. See everyone at the Recitals. After Recitals our stage dance (tap, jazz, open ballet, hip hop, ) year is over

RAD Ballet dance classes during the weeks of April 28 and May 5 will run as normal unless a dancer has dress rehearsal.
GRADUATION, FIVE/TEN/FIFTEEN/TWENTY YEAR DANCERS
If your dancer is graduating grade 12/University or has been with us for 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 years and will be getting an attendance award please confirm this by e-mailing Miss Karen at CLICK HERE .
The next time with the RAD Examiner will be between May 25 - June 25, 2025. Dancers ready for their exam have been notified.
2025/26 Registration will be in June Families will receive an email.
COSTUMES
Everyone please have costumes organized by March 31
Distribution has started. So if we get to mid March and your dancer doesn't have a costume yet please get in touch with us and we can update you. Please remember having your dancers costume organized is your responsibility, but we are here to help. To find out what is happening with costumes please give us a call, e-mail us through our web site or drop by the studio office. Keeping in touch with us will be very helpful. Please label costume pieces and dance shoes with your dancer’s name.
We welcome back photographer Miss Noelle Frazer who will be taking our dance photos. Each class will have a class photo and individual photo of each dancer. Digital photos will be accessible on line with a code in June.
